I went back to the shed after work and spent another half hour tinkering.
So far so good.

Unfortunately, an IS/PM 180mm adapter for the frame doesn't work on a fork with an IS mount and a 180mm disc and I can't find a suitable one anywhere in my shed. So I'll have to rummage through the parts box of my favorite bike shop tomorrow at noon to see if I can find something.

Otherwise I'm excited and can't wait to ride the lil' kerfuffle.
I like the name and I think it fits quite well.

Does anybody know if there was a longer hite rite available?

Love the look of that machine. The big tires definitely help!

I have got to check how that 'hite rite' works. Interesting.

I feel like I have a shorter one than others...

Just look at that.
I could make a joke or two about this...

But instead...
Yes, they originally came in 2 different spring lengths, Standard is 3" and Extra Long is 4.5".

And just a little wisdom for life in general:
"Comparison is the thief of joy"

Sure, some guys have bigger ones, but you can still have fun with your little thing.

Phew. Am I ever glad I avoided all those jokes

If it were longer I could of course push it further in and out but @MattiThundrrr you're right, I'll have fun that way too...

And thanks for the info! The hite rite info!

I learned something else today. These two adapters are both for IS to PM for 180mm brake rotors only one for the fork and one for the frame.

Frame adapters IS/PM 180mm work on the fork as IS/PM 203mm, by the way, in case anyone is interested.

Thanks mate.

It's pretty simple, the soring gets loaded when you push the saddle down and when you open the QR again it pops right back into the upper position so you dont have to adjust the saddle.
