I want to dimple the chain stays. Open to suggestions. Willing to buy a new tool.

The way I dimpled chainstays in the past, was with a piece of iron pipe with an ID about the size of the stays cut longwise, a piece of 2" rod about half the size of the stays, and vice grips.

I've seen some welded to the grips since then, rather than.free.placed and squeezed.

I ordered a motorized kit last night. If it isn’t allowed in this build off I can save it for the big BO. Or I can mount it after BO is complete.

This is silly, but I am really hesitant to cut off the pulley for a 3 speed. I don’t need it, but I am also a big fan of the SA 3 speeds and it seems like a shame to chop this off.

Got the bendix kickback apart. Will send everything through the ultrasonic and then attempt to assemble with new grease.

If it were me, I'd would leave the bracket for the pully on the frame. Especially if putting a motor on, it could be a mount pount for a few different things related to that.
