On the other subject, Uruguay is a small peaceful country, with some interesting things to see, especially if you are a nature fan.
Beautiful country side, beautiful beaches. Top turistic spot: Punta del Este, called by some as South America´s Montecarlo, is a great place to visit and to live in. Check it out: http://www.vivapunta.com/en/index.html

Then, you have Montevideo, country´s capital and place were I live, European architecture, 1.5 million people. Unlike other countries in the region, Uruguay has no native habitants, most of us have Spanish or Italian ascendency and in a minor percentage African ascendency which enriches our culture in many aspects. Land of Football (Soccer first world champions ever, in 1930), Tango, Candombe and great "Asados" (Awesome Barbecues).

This pic shows South America´s first skyscraper, "Salvo´s Palace" right in the heart of Montevideo.

Trailers can sure come in handy!Here is a pic of a trailer i'm building (another work in progress)should look good after a new paint job and a few other mods,i made it out of a vintage outboard Evinrude boat motor cover,it's fully enclosed fiberglass body has a hinged door at the front to access the cargo area and rolls on pneumatic tires for a smooth ride,just wanted a little tote trailer to take to the beach to haul the beach blanket and other little personal items while still looking cool and keeping everything dry incase of rain.Should look good when it's finished and i will post a pic. 8)

They need a kick myself smilie.....my neighbor just hauled off a bunch of vintage out board covers

Nop, not really, most of the old cars still working and you can see´em every day, specially pre war Ford and Chevy trucks.
We do have Mille Miglia races, European cars mostly...

Some interesting scenes with some old cars in Uruguay,that would be cool 8) I like viewing pictures of old cars in their original state that are still being used,sort of like Cuba,it's like going back in time while still being in the present.

Well as far as most of the covers they had been hauled off by a outboard repair guy, he also picked up at least 150 engines, I would have tried to do something with picking this stuff up , but you can only do so much.
