Here's a few pics of my current project, a Raleigh MTB I got from the dump for $1.

The tires on it at the moment are 24x2.5 Maxxis Hookworms. I think I'll stick with the 24" wheels, as 26" balloon tires are pretty hard to get (and expensive) in Australia. Also still trying to decide on a colour. I'm liking the red though (at the moment!!).

It's always cool to see one of the new bikes transformed into something that looks old.

You need to find an old road bike stem.

bean,I see youre handy with a welder...just flip the stem upside down like I did on "Jack" the Ripper.Cut off one side and weld it to the other.Like this...
