Raleigh Chopper

Got a call from a local salvage friend of mine and I now own this Raleigh Chopper. On the way home I had to stop, pull the bike out, and take advantage of this photo op.

He found this under a stack of trash.

Did a light Simple Green cleaning of the Raleigh Chopper MK1. I am impressed with the condition of the brightwork. I even think the fender chrome can be brought back to life a good bit. The Sturmey Hub has a 1969 date on it. I also coated my Nanner Puddin, my adult sized Screamer with some Barricade firearm protectant and took these pics to show everyone the awesome scale and proportions of the Screamer XXL. And to also show the details of the Chopper. Tons of photos below for details.

Wow that Chopper is pretty clean! Nice acquisition there! I like the shop decal on the downtube, very cool.

And that big boy Screamer isn't too bad either!

That sucker is NICE! The saddle, in particular, is in unbelievable shape. Throw on a black front tire and polish up the shiny bits--we've both seen worse brought back to life.

kingfish254, not saying that your Raleigh chopper isn't cool, it is but what's up with that other bike in the background? Is there a build thread on it?

That is my long time idea of an adult sized Screamer. I had @pvwacko of Wacko's Garage build the frame. fork, guard, and seat for me.
