Acquired this ratty Raleigh as part of a lot of free bikes a friend of mine needed to get rid of. Not really my cup of tea, but this bike really intrigues me.
Serial number shows a January 1980 build date. The left crank is stripped where the pedal screws in, so a new crankset is needed. New tubes and tires are needed, as well new cables. At least a couple hundred bucks needed to fix her up, but if I sell her, I don't think I could get it back.
I have several cranksets that could work, none that look like the original. Have a set 700c wheels with good rubber. Can make her a decent rider, but definitely not a concours level rehab.
