Last year I picked up a Raleigh Technium frame set. It looked like a nice bike to build, But I have ran in a lot of problems with it.
First it used U-Brakes, ok got them installed. Next I was going to change to V-Brakes up front. found the bolt stuck in the brake post. With that removed, Trying to install the V-Brakes, the hole for the spring is on the outside of the fork..... What the..... Then I have a no name tandem with the same problem. Thing is, I have no parts to fix. Sure I can get new forks for both. was wondering if anyone has a source to find a pair.

Thanks, Rich

Ha, I found them, one set on a normal Raleigh MTB and another set on a Diamondback MTB. Both bikes I had on hand in the back yard. The sets of Canti brakes are not the same but tension set up is like the "U" brakes on a BMX or the "U" brake set up on the chain stays on a MTB. Ya, i win, or just lucky.
