Yes it is, I've owned it about 10 yrs now. Cars have been on the back burner a little, with the economy, and raising a 6 yr. old. Restoring a 56 210 Chevy right now, eventually it'll be his, like everything else. Ha! Ha!
Some sweet, sweet pics in this thread. This was my first ride, back in the '90's. Of course, it looked quite different back then. Performed quite different, too. Originally a straight 6, but now has a 302 in it.
Nice! My 1st car was a 66 mustang "sprint" 6 cyl. I was restoring it in high school in the early 80's, it got totaled from a rear end accident. You no those unibody's! So I then replaced it with a 65 mustang gt coupe with a factory 4 speed, with a challenger 289 and deluxe pony interior. It was an all original calif. car, built in San Jose, Ca. It needs a complete resto now. Yours brings back memory's!
Looks nice prewarmotobikes! The picture of the 3 window above in my posts is an original all steel 3 window, we are in the process of building a flathead nickel block we aquired from So/ Cal speed shop.
Thanks that would be cool, I used to restore muscle cars and owned shiny cars for 35+ years and when I found this original steel body with the original patina I had to build it like it was pulled out of a barn after 50 years and it actually was harder finding period correct patina parts than if I was building a painted traditional rod which my '34 roadster will be.
A bit of Swedish Rat that I came across the other day on the interwebs.
I've posted a link below to the article and site. Lots of great pics and a fun read.
