Do all of the Twin Flex bikes have the ribs running the length of the tank? My Huffman Airflyte has smaller vents up towards the front of the tank but is smooth on the sides.

the one in burgundy-ish brown and red twinflex in the pic above doesn't have vents at the front of the tank. those are headlights.

I dont want to hijack the thread because this is an amazing journey, but here is a pic. I was just asking for my own knowledge. Im not 100% sure on the year of mine. Its been sitting for a couple months. It will be my first restoration

I believe that tank was introduced in '41 but was used after WWII as well. Here is a scanned catalog page from '41

Last of paint has been unveiled. Keith did a great job. Can't wait to get my plated stuff back and start stacking.
