got the b4 and after shot all in one pic.

well the second is in worse shape than the first. it is missing a front tire, but does have the original pedels and seat.(instead of a tricycle seat and a rag to increase the seat post diameter. )

i'm pretty sure this second bike is mine, just have to work out the details.

I would have tossed that bike without hesitation and not even consider using any kind of elbow grease on it. You Sir are a real Craftsman, awesome job!

rustoration, i like that! it suits the build well.

with all that rust i really am surprized the steel is still in such decent shape. these bikes are heavy, i imagen its much thicker tubing than most bikes where built from.

i'm not looking forward to the do over.
wire wheels and angle grinders just don't play well together for very long, and i always end up looking like a porcupine.

The crazy thing is there are bicycle manufacturers that are utilizing notched belts in place of chains. This bike was way ahead of the curve.
