Im getting the forks and frame and those square handle bars sandblasted and powder coated. I want it to last forever

i have a change of plans im going in a true rat style bmx. im going to get some rust removal spray and remove the rust fron the frame and forks and handle bars and then once all the rust is removed i will clear coat to protect the bare metal spots from rusting again. will saving the orginal paint. and spray the orginal rims and crank with rust removal spray. what do u think of that
