I actually just picked up 2 in the past week and was thinking the same thing. I was thinkin banana seat with apes, not very ratish but cooler than stock. I'll post before and after pics when I am done.

I think there's a folder in the buildoff.

I've got an old Dahon boardwalk I was going to use for the buildoff before the tandem, so I'll think I'll finish it out. It's already got a head start with the tires. Maybe this weekend.

I played around with mine today and heres how it came out. Its a 73 CCM with a 3 speed sturmey. I put a banana seat and sissy bar on and pushed the bars forward some for some attitude. Still has the original Dunlop Gold Seal white line tires in great shape. Time for some cruisin! Heres the before

whoa.... i'm digging the potential just by looking at youse guys rides.... i think i seriously need to go get me one and try ratting it out.

never knew a foldy could look so different just by adding a 'nana seat. haha...

bighit, that frame looks like a big hit right there.... i especially dig that portion where the frame swoops back to hold the basket out back! very old school looking.

whoa... that beemer looks real expensive! how much you paid fer that? that front end sus looks killer.

ohchusan,

My BMW Q6.s was a $4000 bike when new in 2002. The front suspension is from BMW's line of motorcycles known as "Telelever" suspension. It has all the anti-dive characteristics of their motorcycle suspension. Whats nice is its fully adjustable along with the rear suspension as well, so you can make it as hard or soft as you want.

The best part is I won it in a sales contest when I was working for a BMW dealer......so it didn't cost me a dime!

i have two of these. the other one has a 24" mag front wheel and suspension fork. actually i was gonna take it apart and put a 26" wheel back on, but i'f i try this rat deal maybe i'll leave it and work from there.

i thought someone entered a folder in the build off this year because it is not cutting the frame you could do whatever you want to take the halves apart and add longer tubes in the middle. sorta like a rule bender.

+ er... 1/2?

bettween working too slow and only recently being able to post pics, i've never tried to do a build off. but since i have something leaning this way anyhow i'd be kinda interested.
