Found this unbuilt kit at Goodwill for $3.00. Knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. That is the date the 1st Camaro rolled off the line. The bottom date is when the last one rolled off. Wasn't trying to make an award winning diorama. Now I'll take the built car back to Goodwill for some kid to destroy.

Got out this Hotwheels Bantam AA/FA out for another thread. Back when I raced slot cars I saved the wheels from cassette tapes. They were perfect 1/64 scale wheels. They worked good for custom diecast too. The front wheels are from a cassette. I would put them on an axle get it turning in a drill and cut them with a hobby knife as they spun. Hand held lathe. Fuel altereds were something to see in the 60s and early 70s. Short wheelbase Fiat Topolinos, Bantam and T bucket roadster with top fuel engines. NHRA outlawed them. Then Wild Willy Borsch entered his a top fueler and qualified for the field. The rail guys refused to run next to him. These things usually launched somewhat sideways.

I think I took the rear wheels off a Johnny Lightning 1/64 dragster.
