If we can build in the style, but without an actual Weird Oh kit, I'll be in (which it looks like people did here). I haven't sculpted anything in a while and I'd like to try out some new things, so it would be a chance to do that, plus I have three unfinished speedboat hulls and I could use one of them for the build.

Man, if you guys want more options, try STEM stuff, seems like what the kids are building nowadays. My kids got a couple of robot build kits, and it was very similar to model building, with the cutting and filing plastic parts, and fitting them together with that satisfying snap! These are more complicated than regular models though, as you also have to assemble all the gearboxes and mechanisms for moving parts. The one we finished yesterday is powered by two electric engines, and walks on six legs.

His next build has 12 different options, so you know it would work for bashing. And it's solar powered!

Those builds will be fun. KJV your new kits remind me that I miss cars that had substantial sidewall to their tires. I have never been able to get use to the wagon wheel look of today's tire/wheel combos.

How about flat black police car? Building as a curbside ;
The engine , rear end, and suspension. Are going in Parts box ... along with : Resin Joker.

I'm currently building another vintage Heller 1:43 scale kit. This time it's a BMW 630 cs. Next up will be a Tamiya 1:25 scale Morris Mini I've had for years.

I was think the same thing, I would contribute, I have really got into models this last year thanks to all that’s going on. I mostly do sci-fi but some would cross overD88CD5F8-271A-49EF-ABCB-CBC4528F4912.jpegA37AB7BA-910B-454A-8FBC-3FC2E4F557D6.jpegBB033D7F-B266-40CA-80DC-966EF826CED2.jpeg7F6F904B-53BC-413F-9880-E97789351B69.jpeg

Here's something like what I'm thinking based on the kid appropriate(ish) books I'm working on (the illustration isn't specifically part of them, just a goof I made based on the old Packard ad slogan).

Here’s the 1:43 scale Beemer nearing completion.

And here’s some other Heller 1:43 scales done.

That’s a 1:64 Morgan in front to give an idea of how small these plastic kits are. They are a challenge, especially for late-fifties eyes.

My wife put these in my stocking. They work great. Lighted readers.
