Taking accessories from other kits.
The 34 Ford i just got...will. provide a few more items for the Hauler.
Yeah, that's why I'm liking buying these reissued kits.;
You get all kinds of extra parts and stuff.
Sprayed it all with white primer, then sprayed the fenders and Grill shell.. with red. Also stock wire wheels sprayed with red.
This kit has a tonneau cover. So I sprayed it and laid it on to see what it would look like..

! I've never taken the plunge into SciFi models...seems like the texturing and aging you have to do to make it not look like some toy is out of my (lack of) skill set. You knocked it out of the park!Thank you!!!Outanding
I had one of those kits years ago. I built as a hot rod originally, but a couple of years later the Testors tube cement began to fail. I gently took it apart and rebuilt it as a ratty, rusty original. Even cut out part of the bed floor and added weathered strip wood for a broken down bed floor. Wish I had pictures of it.

On Tuesday: one of my friends that lives in another state . Text and told me he was sending a package with some models he had on a shelf in his man cave. Which he will never build. So he send them to me so I can enjoy them. The package showed up yesterday.

Then this diecast model of the 62 Corvette from the TV series Route 66.
The series ran from 1960 to 1964. 1960 + 61 they used a 58 Corvette. Late season 61 the 62 Corvette was used until the end of the series in 1964.
