When my dad passed in 2010, my stepmom gave me a 1/16 scale 1914 Mercer Raceabout (vintage Entex kit), that he never got around to building. She also gave me a display kit to go with it. I started building it last week. It's not my style, but I am enjoying it quite a bit.

I know, "pictures or it didn't happen".

Wasn't sure what color I was going to put on Jimmy....
Actually thought I was going to leave it in Gray primer.
Then I found that gloss Brown and it just had to be done.
Man I remember that retro deluxe kit way back in the day that kit has been boxed and reissued so many times.... I was glad to see it come back.

I am going to start throwing all extra parts in a box together.. from all these kits ;
And we will see : what I can build in true Rat Rod fasion...
