Rad Rod Scooter!!

Got some pretty cool (well I think so) ideas for this one...

***ANYONE know what era this would be? I figure the plastic wheels are/were an after thought... All guards/rack/stands are riveted on, has that old style push brake on the rear..

You might be correct about those wheels . . . everything else on it is real steel.
I'm sure some kid is going to have some fun on it when you're finished!

..so fast forward to now...

Found out that it is a Cyclops Scooter, and the wheels are infact genuine! (still horrible LOL) and it dates about 1981.


O.K, have done some work on this...not heaps, but starting to get a feel for what this one needs...

just signed upto the forum as i saw this thread and wanted to share my little project with you scooter fans.

the tires are 8 inch wide, not to sure about the scoot think its early 70s! more pictures to follow once building has commenced!

First thing first: Blackrat, Welcome! As Kota said, you should start your own build thread. Impressive wheels you´ve got there, I definitely would love to see more of your build.

rope is glued on with ends tucked under.

Had to stretch the shell brass as these are small bars, should fit nicely inside std bars though..
