Rat Rod Tandems

Hey everyone,

Is there such a thing as a Rat Rod Tandem .... Has anyone done one yet ?

Could we have a RRtandem build off ???

Well it looks like Im gona have to force me self to get the photo download figured out .... it has been a major flustration 4 me .

We've got an 82 huffy that i'll be working on someday. a tandem build off would interesting, might be hard to get enough participants though.

Well ther are three of them in less than 1/2 hour... would love to show mine off ...gota get yhe picture thing squared away so I can show some of this stuff to yall.

I built mine to ride with Lou Lou BUT she broke her elbow before we could put any miles on it ... Im Bumed

I built this 3 years ago, not really a rat rod but a fun boardwalk bike. The street-runners looked great but raised the bike up too much and they have been replaced. I wanted to put a Schwinn springer and wire rack on when I built it, but the bike needed too many new parts for me to splurge on it. We call it the "Random Tandom".

Wowzer Bowzer Now we are cooking ..LOL YIPPY ya know . They are ALL Great .
I am not sure what a rat is exactly BUT I do know thease Bikes would ALL look great on a tandem run togeather .

I think they all play to YA CAN"T KEEP A GOOD TANDEM DOWN Theme Spirit .

I think you have a Columbia there. Do you have a parts bike also ??? I Need a chainguard just like yours.

no sir, that is the only bike I have. The chainguard is off of it now. It's a tad flimsy, so I'm trying to be real careful so I can straighten it to repaint.

So far I use the RBC more.

The darker one I have no idea what the make is. Enjoy!

Just sold this 1978 Schwinn tandem. Its gonna make a nice wedding gift. bye tandem.....
