So i picked up this Electra Ratrod for , 40 bucks last week.

Pretty rough, but good enough for a daily driver. Today i had some free time in between two appointments so i decided to check the bike,
give it a clean and make it run a bit better. Took apart the rear hub and the bottom bracket.

And yes is replaced the pedals for the ugly plastic ones, but hey, sometimes you gotta do with what you have right?

I was having doubt about the chainguard but it looks better without i think.

Now all that's left is the shifter and cable, a saddle and soms grips.

Awesome bike Frankie.

After seeing your hub internals, I can't help but wonder why they removed them grease nipples.

I am on the other side of the spectrum than the previous owner of this ratrod, my bikes do not stand a full day in the rain and get lots of thick grease
Hell, my local race bike clubs bikes weigh less than the grease in my bikes

Again, awesome bike!

Found this old Electra Blossom seat in my parts pile.

Decided to spray paint it and see how well it holds

Still wet on this photo, when it's dry it should be a satin finish. But since it's almost freezing it could take a while. Will take another pic when it's dry
