I finished a few rats this week, time for some pics.

Garry Is A Rat
First one is a CCM made Garry sold at The Ashdown Hardware Company. I found this bike a month ago. The guy said it was sold. Last week he tells me the guy never came up ith the money. I bought it. It had junk wheels on it, I had the correct CCM balloon wheels with new 26 x 2" tires. I took it to the car wash to see if any of the pink house paint would wash off. The paint on the fenders came off, most of it. The frame paint held tight. The original paint was blue and gold, the wheels have original blue paint, correct for the bike. I went for a 2 mile ride on it tonight. It rode great.

Taking A Whizz
Next is this ratty Roadmaster. I bought it last week at a local auction. It had a Whizzer rear wheel and all the frame clamps on it. The tank was also on it. I got the motor in a box, mostly complete. Needs a rebuild. It was bead blasted and cleaned up. I cleaned up some rims and respoked the hubs to them. The bike looks great. The rear fender was badly bent. There is a ton of rivets in it, there is also some plates on the inside of the rear fender to hold it together. The fender was cut for the belt drive. I rode it as it looks and it rides nice. The wheels are not the best, lots of bends from hitting rocks and curbs.

I Need A Tetanus Shot
Next is a 1933 CCM Red Bird, 28" wheel bike. I bought it a month back from a guy who lived in a really disgusting house. The bike was in the basement since the begining of time. It didn't have a lot of miles on it. The basement was damp so the bike lost most of it's paint. There was a covering of rust on the whole frame, fenders and wheels. It had a nice leather saddle on it, it is being softened with saddle oil right now. I took it to the car wash and this is how it turned out. I also replaced the tires.

Alumarat
Next is a Monark Silver King Wingbar. I bought it last spring as a frame. The rear dropout was broken. This spring I found a guy who builds Indian and Harley motorcycles from the 30's. He welded it up and I drilled out the adjuster screw holes. I have to get the correct screws yet. With some new wheels and tires (26) it rides great.

Here is a group shot of them. Also I have another Hiawatha that I am not finished. I am using the 3 speed drum brake wheels on it. I have to get the BB parts for the crank. Also my build off bike.

Thanks guys for the comments. Here is what the Alumarat started out as. I am surprised the guy didn't throw out the dropout piece.

The "I Need A Tetanus Shot" is still vert rusty but a lot of the rust cleaned up. It rides nice and smooth. 28" CCM or Canadian 28" bikes are quite popular here. I am working on a few wood wheel bikes, hard to come by the wheels here. They are clinchers here in Canada.

Nothing invaded my yard this summer but ants. You have a dream lineup there.

Drooling all over the keyboard, what a line up!!!
And in top of all you've got a prewar Chevy!!! Jealous in good way here

I just found this post while looking up bike stuff on google. I ended up with the Green Road master that used to be a Whizzer. I thought I would post up a picture of its current state:

I have the fenders in primer and welded up the cut outs for the whizzer belt and all the rivet holes etc. and worked out all the dents on them. Just need to get them and the chain guard painted! I love this bike it rides so smooth!
