Ok, I always wanted an Elgin Robin and was lucky enough to find the heart and soul of a Robin on eBay.

A fellow CABER contacted my with a project Robin Frame and Fork that he will ever get around to.

The frame was already down to the metal so all I had to do was to add a (very) little paint and rust it.

I had some blue fenders that were kicking around for a while so I stripped them down to the stainless and also did the same to the fork. Rusted the fork and added some parts that were in the shed.

With today being Memorial Day it was fitting to add Red and Blue accents to the bike.

My 8 year old wanted me to add a chain guard so I had to switch out crank and do some grinding on the new one to make it work

Actually I think the combination of that chain guard with the tank make it look like it's a streamliner already in motion.

I think a zeppelin guard would flow well with the tank, if you can find one.
