Wanted. A No. 10 Fender reflector!!!!!! A 375 would do.
This broke off with very little torque applied. I don't care about the condition of the lense. It's all about the stud being there.

That sounds like good good living. Paint looks great
Gonna storm first thing tomorrow.
Tossed it back together to bring it and the tools inside.
New grease in the bearings makes it ride so smooth.

Changed out pedals to some old ones that I rebuilt last year.
Changed out the bars for. Taller pair that match the sissy height.

Looking good, I like the new bars! Linseed oil worked out nice on the paint too.

That Boiled Linseed Oil helped bring out some of the depth in the paint. I didn't even know it was metallic paint until I washed it down with Dawn and a blue scrubby that I use on the glass top stove.

My wife gave me advice on the seat yesterday. I usually listen to her as she's got a really good eye for some details that I think are 'Just Fine' that would look better done another way.
She suggested that the seat should be blue. She says it will help accentuate the blue frame and make things match a little better.

I think it will fit over the leather seat and look right.
Will work on this plan after work tonight.

Is that banana peel blue felt? This just took a psychedelic twist!
It's swept blue velour off of a 90s Lowrider bike. Still has lowrider tag on the back of it.
I may reuse the tag, just so th holes in the fabric don't show.
I tried to fit it on top of that overstuffed leather seat, and found it didn't fit well. Looked like it might.
But it wouldn't stretch to get to the hold down tabs.
Grabbed this cool uncovered banana I've been keeping for a mbbo build. Don't know the brand or even what to call the stepped up back.
Certainly an oddball seat that's no longer common
Cover stretches over it well.
Give it a wash through the washing machine and clean the rust off the seat pan with some paint and I will be in business.

Went the hardware store and got a few bolts and a screw for the tank.
Added the tank back on.

Worked the seat. Gotta find my eyelet kit.
Put it all back together and gave her the new shoes I picked up when I brought her home a couple years ago. Rode a few miles. No screeching squeaks anymore.
That red tire was growing on me but the new treads looks terrific! The bike is coming along great!
It grew on me as well. Didn't carefree it, but I knew the other one would end up blowing. Wanted the new tires on it after I knew I wouldn't be dripping oil or smearing grease on them.
Both tires will end up on my red typhoon at some point soon. Both tires on blew in an afternoon a couple weeks ago.
I put another 15 miles on her this morning. Quiet and smooth. Rode up past Sunday carclub, up around and back down the hill.
I really like the quality of these Continental contacts. Perfect fit and a nice ride at any speed.
