Rear brakes on a trike kit??

I'm starting to build a custom trike for my dad.  He's let me use his tools and shop for mine and my boys' builds so I figure it's time to pay him back with a surprise custom trike.

I'm using an older trike kit.  It has a free wheel sprocket on the axle.  I'd like to either add a disc or coaster brake somehow.  I need help on how to do it.  Thanks!

That one makes sense. The other pics I've looked at didn't have the dual sprocket on it. That's what was corn-fusing me. Thanks Peatbog!

I ened up using a coaster brake and putting a manual drum brake on for back and to act as a parking brake. I think the drum brake was $15 on ebay.
