Alrighty I have a question. Can a rear triangle off a bicycle used for a motorized rear triangle or four seat tubes from a bicycle frame?

I need a rear triangle for a motorized bike but I'm tight on money so is there any part of a bicycle that I can use for a strong rear triangle

Well I'm running in between 2.125 to 4" rear tires and combined with the electric drivetrain, 15 to 17 hp

my frame is built out 2 inch and 1 1/2 inch, .120 DOM tubing, i just need a rear triangle and a girder fork, my drive train is gas and electric

Most of what is done here is pretty much normal. The things you are trying to do is kinda experimental. Meaning
you dream up some stuff and try it. If it works then thats great, if not and your still alive , you try something else.
Nobody here can tell you how to safely build the things your coming up with. Try the web site Endless sphere. They
do a lot of out there builds and mess with electric motors too. You might pick up a few ideas.

OK the mountain bike didn't work as intended so what gauge tubing or anything else could I use to build my rear end with out folding

Guys building motorcycles are using .120 and up. I am using .083 for my builds, I would imagine if you used .083 1" on your rear cage you would be fine... though I would try to copy an existing design. If you are looking for a single swingarm, I would consider something heavier, along the lines of .120 rectangular tubing... again, these are just some seat of the pants numbers, with a real design, you can do the calculations (not a bad idea ) If you are considering pivots, do not even go the bicycle units, look into motorcycle or moped designs...

And if backyard expermentation ain't in your blood, go to a motorcyle building forum and checkout what they are doing... another source, 4x4 forums, my fav is Pirate4x4.com, they have lots of info, though not much along the lines of what you want... you are in custom builder terrain now baby

Thank u sir I've been using .120 dom on my frame I just need a front end and rear because building pivots has not been my specialty so hard tail is the design
