I got a pair of old bow pedals for my '60 Jaguar, and I'd like to rebuild them. I got the blocks off but can't figure out how to remove the caps... Help please! :)

I always just de-rust/polish them when they are intact...not sure ont the bearrings- maybe others can chime in.. 8)

I dont know for sure, but often caps like that are pressed on. Problem is getting a tool under a bit of a 'lip' somewhere to pry on. If there isnt any purchase around the outer edge, you could drill a hole in the center of the dome and screw on a 'dent puller' and slide hammer it off; then dolly out any dents ,epoxy or braze up the hole and paint.
