What kind of tape can I use that bends easily to mask off half the seat for painting?

No not the s but the v shape. I'm gonna paint one side first then the other. I think I've seen some automotive flexible tape used for painting patterns on cars that seems like it would work really good just don't know what it is called. As for the s there is a guy on here somewhere I seen that sells the stencil or sticker or something like that.
