Refurbed Schwinn Red Racer

As I was working on other bikes, I had one of those 'waydaminute' moments where I realized I could cobble together a cool bike from unused things scattered around my garage that I kept shuffling around to get to other things. So I grabbed a red Schwinn Racer frame from 1966, put on the crank and seat from an exerciser, and a S-7 26 x 1&3/4 wheelset on it, plus a new townie handlebar and shiny new S-7 whitewalls to get this:





The high gearing makes quick take offs hard, but once you're moving, you.are.moving.

They are kendas. I got them off ebay; I think the seller bought the wrong tires and was trying to get some money back.
