Remove riveted badges

I have a frame I need to strip down, but want to save the badge. I tried pressing them out from the inside, but can't get enough leverage to get them out. Any pointers for how to get these suckers out?

What sort of rivet?

Can you drill it out.....?

Or is the rivet part of the badge?



Also, where is the badge on the frame......?

I use an "L" shaped pry bar to get the rivet screws out , helps to soak them with kroil or PB blaster
first if they're rusty.

Grind the back side of the rivet


It wasn't me I swear.

Small drill bit through the front side and just punch them through the tube. Center punch the rivet first and you should have no problem.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I have a piece of 3/8 bar laying around, so I may try to make one of those tools. If that doesn't work I'll grind them off.
