This was my second bike that I built. Basically stripped it down, prepped and painted. Complete overhaul. Painted by me as usual. All these parts were original except the bars and seat. The bars were pitted and I wanted something better for such a good rebuild.

The orange used to be yellow but otherwise it had the 3 color fade like the repaint does

Absolutely fantastic restoration. If I didn't know any better I'd think it was a untouched classic.

Good call on keeping the chain guard original. It is sooooo late 70's I almost wanted to hop in my A Team van and head out to the pier to catch a ride on the Love Boat while wearing my Houston Astros throwback jersey. Sweeeeeet.........

I have that same frame, and under a bunch of crappy paint jobs, it looks to have been gold originally. Seeing yours makes me want to sand blast it and paint it. Nice job.
