What I can't figure out is how you could go anywhere with a tiny front sprocket like that.

Maybe someone can enlighten me on this.

Mtb single speed usually is a 2 to one ratio. 32 tooth front/16 tooth rear. This is so you can do the hills and such.

It would be pretty sweet to roll across the finish line on one though. I'm sure it would get some looks.
