Looks like Wal-Mart has rolled back their price on the Huffy Regatta cruisers with the Nexus 3 speed hubs to $149 with free shipping.

Lots of cool parts and if I remember correctly, the rims are fairly wide on these bikes.

I got mine last month for $99.00 in store at one of the Wal-Mart's near me and it's the same price a few days ago. Winter Haven FL near downtown.

It shifts & rides great by the way.

The styling on those bars make me cringe but I do see how they give a guy a lot of gadget room (lights / speedo / bell / bottle holder/ etc..). Worth it for the wheel and tires alone to freshen up an older bike, cranks and sprocket don't look bad either, anybody know if they're aluminum or boat anchors ?

Easy choice for some cool tires and a nice 3 speed wheelset!

It is aluminum & steel parts with the steel frame. I think the rear wheel is the heavy part. Although I don't have a full scale I used my normal scale with the rear on the scale with the front in the air it was below 40 around 35lbs.

The welds on mine are good on the frame & fork. The welds for the rack could be way better which are a bit sloppy with a lot on one side of each tube and a little on the other. The racks tube ends are straight to the frame but could have had more metal to make tabs to fold around the main frame for slightly better hold around it.

The rack says max weight of 22lbs for the top and it extends outwards for more room lengthwise.
