Rollfast/Schwinn/Schwinn

I picked these up for parts bikes for $60.

Modern Schwinn Panther, Schwinn Corvette with aftermarket springer and older rollfast girls frame with truss rods.

I built the girl s frame up for my sister, for her bday. Pics to come.

The rollfast frame has a lay-back seat post with a spacer for the seat tube. Even with the seat tube removed, I cannot fit any of the seat posts I have. Any ideas on what size seat post I need?
I haven't have a chance to get a measurement.

My old Rollfast has the small 13/16" seat post so I bet thats what you have. I hate those small posts too. I inverted the seat post on mine putting the tiny end into the frame then I put a standard size seat/clamp on it. Tightened the crap out of the seat and it held fine. The seat clamp will clamp down if you wrench on the bolt enough.

Not much, was thinking about stealing the crankset for my firebolt klunker build.
