I know $100 is a lot for some things but I'm wondering if its worth the $ or almost worth it. I dont exactly need it nut I hate to see it turn to junk.....buyer says his parents bought it in 1959 for his sister and the tires are not original.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I like the style of that rear rack too. Kinda sharp and subtle design with the exposed bars towards the front for strapping things down. And the implied wing tips at the back. Less is more.
That seat is in killer condition too, with that crash bar and all. Overall, she's a pretty classic 50's lady.

I said 50's but now I'm thinking early 60's. Kinda more slender in design with
hints of what were large accents. The tank, seat, rack, fenders. I never did
fully understand that front rack thing on there and how it's supposed to hold
something wider than a piece of paper? Most all of that stuff has been relegated
to history now. As we all know. Cool bike out of the factory.

yea, I never followed up....when I got there (after driving almost an hour) he said the bike isn't actually there; its over his sisters house. After more chit-chat in the yard, he says he still owes her $50 in addition to the advertised price. I said thanx for your time and drove home......oh well.......
