I managed to get the frame, chainguard, tank and crank and sprocket sprayed with the dead flat clear. It worked just like i wanted it to. It looks like it said it would .Dead flat everywhere. Also did a little decorating on the seat.
I did the center section first and added a couple layers more than the bar ends. When I sat them together I liked the contrast between the two. I really like how the color changes when the light hits them from different angles. This stuff is great for accent pieces. The fade on those bars looks great!
Bare bones look.. I think this really looks the part for a dead flat look.. RaToN... Razin...I managed to get the frame, chainguard, tank and crank and sprocket sprayed with the dead flat clear. Thanks Oddjob. It took a few tries to get it taped off where I was happy with it. The 3m tape is great to work with.Wow! That paint job is pro level! So sweet, Marshall.
Thanks Dr. The plan is coming together.Digging it!
You can partially thank my wife for that. She managed the blue tape, duct tape, furnace filters, and other Consumer Home Improvement products for over 30 yrs right up the road at 3M.Thanks Oddjob. It took a few tries to get it taped off where I was happy with it. The 3m tape is great to work with.
My favorite as a kid.
