I got the frame just about done, just needs clear coat. I redid the stripes on the front and made it fit the overall look. Rusty and dirty.
Hand painted, then sanded with 150 grit to break through and then wet sand to smooth it out a bit.

I don't like my dads camera, messes with the color.

I am going to wet sand the rusty spots on the springer and clear coat that, but not going to clean up the paint on it. Then wire brush the chrome all over the bike to clean off the loose rust and surface rust.

The frame is clearcoated and it has a nice look to it. I am working on cleaning the rims and getting the fork ready.
Its getting its pinstripe thing too.

I am also doing my upgrade from Vista to Windows 7, so this might be my last update for a while if anything goes wrong.

Take care

Sweet, Windows 7 worked :D and the bike is almost done.
A lot of little things to finish, and finding out what handlebars I want.

Here are the pics, from about 10pm last night.

More to come as I get close to finishing.

Very nice!!!
Please explain that springer lower mount flipping thing to me as if I (were) dumm, I lost my self somewhere in the translation

It doesn't work on newer ones. On the originals, the pivot mount is offset to the rear (front when flipped) of the base of the head tube.

I got my new handlebars in the mail (Thanks Ratina) and its much more comfortable to ride.
Was out on a test ride and decided to take a pic. I think I know where to take the final pictures :D
