V brake bosses Trimmed off and cleaned up

The rather level top tube has been annoying me since I put the frame together. I wished it had more slope like the moosegoose. I also wasn't happy with my seat tube to bb joint, or the seat post clamp arrangement.
So chop chop MF

Lowered the top tube. Leaned the seat stays down, and put the seat tube back in. Much happier with it now. Thankfully didn't get much blow through with the welds at the top of the seat post. A clean up with the grinding stone soon had the seat post dropping back in.

Wire brushed all the welds to get them nice and clean, and sanded the entire frame. Then added putty to all the welds and imperfections. I'm away now for a few days so the filter can sit and dry in peace, while I'm not there being tempted to sand on it.

Mounted the new tyres. Look so much better than the old dirty white place holders.

It's a generic repop, bought from the bargain bin for AU$15 Sure has the perfect look for this build. Even had the seat guts included

When I saw the v-brakes mounted and the cable mod completed I thought, "Yeah, ride vid coming soon!" Then I turned the page....

This thing has more evolution stages than Darwin theorized.

Decal set arrived from BMX products Australia. Awesome quality. I'm thinking custom decals, but went for the stock moose option at this stage. Ready to swap out later on.

Frame bars and fork all primed in white. I've ordered a batch of metal flake for this one, should really bring it to life

Wow! Cutting off brake bosses, cutting out seat tubes because you don't like the top tube angle, and you're gonna move the seat stays around......you are fearless! I'm beginning to think you COULD put Humpty-Dumpty back together again.......

One success and one failure on the spray gun today. My Charlotte build turned out bad, but this one was a win.
I played it safe with a fine flake for this build, plus I also used a darker red base under the red flake, which i think works way better than a lighter base. So happy with the look, I couldn't help myself and had to slap on the decals
