nice
the only thing id change is the plastic zip ties
harbor freight has the aluminum ones really cheap

Looking cool Karfer, but we need to see more pictures! I have a '69 Stingray I've been collecting parts for that has been waiting for 15 years to get built  . I was a kid when I found it and now your bike is getting me motivated.

wow cman i am impressed you know what that is and i thought i was the only hick around these parts. Kram no worries this was a teaser and i have more i want to do i found some good close up pics of the accesory baseball bat holder. if you think i am going to pay 150 to 200 for an original pssssshhhh i will make one. and i am waiting to take new pics once i get all the ties changed over to wire (it takes a lot longer and there are a lot of them. barbed wire would be cool but it is really hard to bend in tight radius and even i will pass on the danger factor with that one.

ccr it is funny you should mention it i was out riding this bike the other day and realized i had not posted any updates. gone is the fork, it now has an original red metalic 27" scwhinn fork which i think goes much better with the "how would a kid have built his ray back in the day" theme i am going for. the tires as cool as they are were really not in good shape especially the rear so they have been swaped for some 2.125 white walls front and rear. oh and it now has a pair of white schwinn chubby grips gotta go OG on some stuff right? although i am getting to the point of wanting to paint it i think maybe coppertone. i will toss some pics up later thanks for bringing this bike back it is sooooo much fun to ride
