I have only been reading here a few weeks and I have to say the creativity is awesome. Everytime I sketch out some new and original idea I have for the next trend in custom bikes I see it here done and better than I planned out. Its just amazing to see the ideas flowing and the quality of construction from some of you. Keep it up. Now if I could juts get started on one myself and quit trying to re invent the wheel.

Yes, this place is a great springboard for innovation. I look through the galleries and build and try to build on ideas and spin-off my own. I think findout out that your idea isn't new doesn't really stifle you, but pushes you harder.

One day I'll do something nobody has ever seen before... then a week later someone will join the forum and show how he did it 3 years ago.

Goodness if that ain't the truth! I've been piddling around with an old mountain bike, slowly converting it into a cruiser and wouldn't you know it, a week after I start the process, a whole thread busts open about it.
I have to admit though, it sure does help solve some problems I've run into.

craftmanship here is off the charts.. I dont even try anymore... I just take the old ones and keep them going..
i do have a couple going..but they just dont stand up to some of the work here.. but I enjoy what i do with them..
