I have only been reading here a few weeks and I have to say the creativity is awesome. Everytime I sketch out some new and original idea I have for the next trend in custom bikes I see it here done and better than I planned out. Its just amazing to see the ideas flowing and the quality of construction from some of you. Keep it up. Now if I could juts get started on one myself and quit trying to re invent the wheel.

Yes, this place is a great springboard for innovation. I look through the galleries and build and try to build on ideas and spin-off my own. I think findout out that your idea isn't new doesn't really stifle you, but pushes you harder.

Goodness if that ain't the truth! I've been piddling around with an old mountain bike, slowly converting it into a cruiser and wouldn't you know it, a week after I start the process, a whole thread busts open about it. :lol:yoothgeye said:

I use a small padlock for my brake arm, and it may be my one claim to fame. I read a thread the other day, they were using aluminum bats for great looking exhaust pipes!
craftmanship here is off the charts.. I dont even try anymore... I just take the old ones and keep them going..
