I threw together a quick chart on the builds to date.
Note that the Diamond Frame BO did not have an official vote, so no voters are shown. Also, Voters in the current build are based on total votes divided by 3 and these votes are based on the tally as of the time of this thread.
One or two things is displayed in this chart. Either participation drops every other build because they are specialty builds or because they just needed a break, or both. Either way, participation has increased greatly since the first build.
