Rube Goldberg Contraption

Hope I spelled the name right. Anyway I thought this contraption from this years Art Of The Bicycle show (please visit this thread!) deserved it's on post.

but what is its purpose... a rube goldberg would complete a simple task with many complicated steps. Its absolutely amazing and quite the imagination but its not really a rube goldberg. Check out youtube for rube goldberg especially the honda one.

I don't think it has a purpose so you're right it's not really a Rube Goldberg thing. Just couldn't think of how else to describe it.

I think its "purpose" is to get you to look at it and get your brain messed up wondering what if anything actually works.

So in my book... yeah its definetly a rube goldberg!

wow! that is cool. hurts my head to look at it too long, but i like it. if i built something like that up here in siskiyou county, police would call me a tweeker and lock me up.
