Started with a silver fluted post. Cleaned and scuffed the 'inner' of the flutes, then sprayed on some purple 'ano'.
Once dried, I used some thinners on a rag to wipe off the excess. Should match in nicely with the anodised components.
I was a bit worried about the chrome on the fork, seems to be clear coated, and got roughed up by the caramel wheel when taking off the old decals. A quick buff bought the lustre back thankfully. So into the acid bath to soak for a few days to clean up a small amount of rust.
I could paint them to match the frame, but think chrome will suit the theme better.
