I'm trying to build a wheel for this fork
that will support the weight and action of big heavy bikes like this
Fat-tire bike's front wheels all come with 5.5" hubs while my fork is 101mm. I wanted to use a 100mm disc hub I pulled off of a Phat Cycle but I was told that using the hub body in this fork would have too much unsupported axle and will likely break in-between the hub body and dropouts. Are there motocross or motorcycle front hubs or something more suited to 75 pound all-terrain bikes?
