rule change?

I've read the rules three times. Nothing about doing your own welding this year.

So if our welds aren't great, can we have our neighbor or local shop do them?
I don't plan on much welding, but if I need structural work can I get someone else to do it? Still don't trust my skills to carry my weight.

Not sure if RatRod did that intentionally or not, personally I am in favour of the change and hope it was intentional!

There was nothing stated in last years BO either. Anything goes in the RRBBO. It was a rule in the Muscle Bike Build Off that has Class1 and Class2 builds.

Rule says bike must be rideable. Doesn't say for how long bike must be rideable....
