Here is the start of my next build...Frame has been sandblasted and repainted a nice Rust color and a touch of flat black. Now decisions on whats going on it....

What brand and color paint did you use for the "rust color"..Did you clear coat over it?? I'm assuming the black went down first?? Thanks, nice job...you've given me some inspiration..
 
Glad to see you flipped the front wheel/tire to get the "flames" turned the right way! :D (Little things like that bother me...can we say OCD?!?!?!)

Great job, but I gotta ask (I may be the only dummy here).......IS that ACTUALLY paint or is it "au-natural"?
 
I think that is the coolest finish on a bike that I have ever seen.

I am also interested in how you accomplished the finish. Is it paint or rust?

Yes I change the tire around... Frame and fork was sand blasted and painted, the tank and chaingaurd are true rust. I had a buddy paint the bike and i am not sure how he did it, I can find out and post in the future....Check out his web site TAOD.ORG
