Rust removal

Can someone tell me the best way to remove rust spots off this frame and fenders without affecting the paint around them..thx

You can try oxalic acid(also sold as ‘wood bleach’).
Before you do, do a search on here about it, there’s quite a bit of info on it.

Looks kind of plain one color; maybe reconsider a repaint; brown tones hide the rust fairly well.

If you are too lazy to search, then you are probably too lazy to use WD40 and fine steel wool too...

Make a custard with vinegar and starch or any other carbohydrate, smear it on the stuff to be derusted, leave it on overnight, wipe it off, clean it and finish it with some linseed oil.

IF your lazy leave the wd on for a long time and use lots

So I tried fine steel wool, w40 and krud kutter. Got most

of the rust off the frame and fenders. Gave it a good waxing. I’m satisfied for now with the results.
