There's an old Zen saying like "If you love something, let it go, if it is to be, it will return to you." "But if you love something and you let it go and you never see it again.....you screwed up!
And my '34 Colson Rat. Still a work in progress, but aren't they all?
Deserves a spot in here indeed, or my garage. Good rescueThis deserves a spot here in the rusty patina photo album.
1937-38 (still deciphering the serial) Firestone Roadmaster Roadster.
Just needs a chain, and wheels...a little TLC and servicing. And this rescue is back on the road again getting fingers pointed by the true relic admirers. I like this one!.
Better pics coming but here is what I found as is
Steampunk fender light
Name plate tray on the front fender
It's all about the Tanklights!!
How did I run out of room so fast?
Found a matching front rim and threw it on the bike for a better photo shoot of the find.
Let me just there that's one nice lookin ride an some one certainly attempted to gat all there moneys worth out of that light I gotta say bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also realized these McGivered accessories are one of a kind.
A extremely rare fender ligbt. (Probably will never find another like it, or at least with this amount of patina)
I posted this on the Cabe in the for sale section. As a "Very Rare front loader fender light". Don't have any serious takers yet at the low price of $1000 shipped.
Also realized this bike has wooden grips...also very rare....not for sale yet.

Now that bike is really cool!Kinda got my 40's Ward Hawthorne complete for now will be doing some more small stuff as I see fit to do never really done with any bike that I build.
It's coming out nicely I think. Just a dry fit on the rims and tires. The chromed rims might be too much.Found a matching front rim and threw it on the bike for a better photo shoot of the find.
