New member here, second post by a few moments.

My rat rod is a Schwinn Stingray project that concluded with the unpleasant surprise of a bent frame.

I have just acquired another frame and can move forward on the project again

I have the pads now, also. To keep the junk food theme, I used bacon grease and seasoned the handlebars like a cast iron pan.

Also how badly is the frame bent? I’ve salvaged a few bent frames with some creative help from the members of this site. Send some pics and I bet you will get some ideas.
