SA 3 speed to fix gear

Hello all, does anyone know if I can make my SA 3 speed hub a fixed gear. Can I just use a conversion kit to replace the SA cog to a fixed cog?

You'll need a new hub for fixed gear.

Sheldon Brown goes over a kludge where you can turn an AW 3speed into a 2-speed fixed gear. Looks dodgy, to me, but i never tried it. i bet it works, but I wonder how smooth/durable it is.... http://www.sheldonbrown.com/awfixed.html Take a look at the link and see what you think.
