pretty well organized event.
there was a panel jam auction for charity, and saw some incredible art work go for cheap!
i picked up a sweet panel with a ton of gold leaf for 70 bucks 8)
i got a honorable mention/participant award for the "blue meanie" (anything goes build-off)
and 2nd place in the SUADE class (largest bike class) for "twiceasnice" (RRBO4)!!!
i had a great time at the show! Saturday was a blast! drinkin' beers with friends and watching a good friend pick up 2 awards for his gold flaked caddy. that in turn started a party 8) and Sunday rolls around, i didn't expect to take anything home at all with all the talent there. hanging out with all you guys from this site, and the behindbars crew was great. a HUGE thanks to Karfer!! you did allot to help this process along (and i owe you one for going back to grab my judging cards!!!) all in all a great time! but it saddens me to be just a little confused that the show wasn't crowded with bikes from the VintageSupply gang, KuttnhackKustoms, or the Orange&Black. it was pretty pricey to enter 2 of my bikes, but honestly, i thought we were gonna pack that building. the custom bike scene is pretty impressive up here in nor-cal, and i think we are true ambassidors! in no way would i ever dream of singling out anyone on an open forum, because i have nothing but mad love and respect for ALL of you guys. next bike show, lets flood it with Sac-town bikes and show everybody how it's done! sorry.... just excited about the next show, and the next build!
