Actually, with aluminum, you can use a hardware store wood chisel set.

youve got kind of a rare bike.. its a 35 with the "windows"... how do i know? i have one too.

not to discourage you from customizing, but just dont do anything you cant un-do. ive been half a$$ polishing mine for months now..

yeah paint can but to get the paint to stick you have to sand the surface and thats not so easy to undo

Anodizing would be sacrilege. Otherwise do what you want. Just make sure you do it with fork trusses and upside-down bars.
